Every store starts with a platform subdomain. You can connect a hostname you control and make it primary when verification and SSL are complete.

Add the hostname

Enter the customer-facing hostname in store settings. The panel shows a CNAME target and any ownership or certificate TXT records required for that hostname.

Wait for readiness

DNS propagation and certificate issuance are separate. The domain is usable only after Cloudflare reports the hostname and SSL as active and DNS points to the SaaS target.

Keep a fallback

The platform address remains valid internally. When a healthy custom domain is primary, public GET and HEAD requests from the platform subdomain redirect to it.
